If you dont want to use a pro ceramic coating then try one of the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions spray on ceramic coatings. Two coats will last about 6 months to a year. Gives a super glossy and slick finish with water beading and can be used on glass and trim. Gyeon ceramic detailer is good for a few weeks.
The primary difference between Jet Hot and Cerakote is that Jet Hot coats both the inside and the outside of the tubes, while Cerakote only coats the outside of the tubes. I know a lot of guys run Jet Hot coated parts has anyone used Cerakote coatings on their headers and/or exhaust?

RE: JetHot vs. Cermachrome Rawb, I just talked to the guy's at Jet-Hot (800) 432-3379. I talked to a guy named Todd on ext. 112 His cut on the situation is this They are both similar types off coating. The application of the coating is the key.
The Rocketman. I spoke to Jet-Hot yesterday and they said they spray coat the outside including the pipes and the cat. They also coat the inside of the pipes, but NOT the inside of the cat. How they do that is a trade secret. They estimated $200-$250 for the job, depending on how many pieces they have to coat.
The strongest ceramic wax is comprised of about 30 percent SiO2 or silicon dioxide. It’s often assumed that this is the ingredient in ceramic coatings that produces the hardness pro-grade formulations are known to produce. But that’s inaccurate. This is a classic example of a car that has suffered from severe swirl marks.
This should be performed prior to having the exhaust manifold Jet-Hot coated so that the coating will be on the mating surfaces of its flanges, thereby providing an effective insulation that will inhibit heat accumulation within the metal of the exhaust manifold where it will be entrapped, leading to further warpage. Hopefully someone can answer a few questions for me. The chrome pipes (like Sergio's)are absolutely beautiful on the cobra. I want to chrome mine as well (I believe), but I wonder about the side effects of chrome vs ceramic. Some local factory five builders told me that the jet hot coating was the way to go.
They sandblast them inside and out. Then dip in some type of etching compound then coat inside and out. I think I was quoted $125 for everything but the can and the shields. That included shipping back also. I think the shields were and additional $15 apiece. The quote was for jet hot sterling. Coat new unused lifetime warranty. Coat used, 3 yr
Late last year, The Debrief reported that civilian contractor Battelle was also working on a ceramic-based approach for coating hypersonic missiles that can achieve temperatures as high as 2,760 Celsius, or ten times hotter than the temperature needed to melt most stealth materials. That report also explained how “the breakthrough material is
